Claude Can Now Use Your Browser — 'Claude in Chrome' Goes Live

This week Anthropic made Claude in Chrome generally available — an AI that operates inside your browser, reading pages and clicking through tasks for you. It's part of a bigger shift: AI is moving from "answers your questions" to "does the thing."

What it actually does

Instead of you copying text into a chat, the AI works where the web already is — filling forms, pulling info across tabs, completing multi-step flows. For repetitive browser chores (research, comparisons, data gathering), that's a real time-saver.

Use it — but keep your hand on the wheel
